The tension was palpable this week as the MotorCoach Resort Dart League wrapped up its season with a series of high-stakes matches. Between the Tuesday and Thursday divisions, the finals delivered exceptional skill, teamwork, and some truly legendary individual performances.
Tuesday’s Tactical Triumph: A Solo Stand
On the Tuesday side of the bracket, the story of the night was C. Ducharme, who found herself playing without her partner, L. Bruneau. In an incredible display of focus and "iron man" stamina, Ducharme played solo against the doubles field, taking on every team by herself.
She fought her way through the quarter-finals and semi-finals to reach the championship round, a remarkable achievement in league history. Ultimately, she met the powerhouse duo of C. Beck and J. Kundle, who showcased clinical finishing to win the final 2-0. While Beck and Kundle took home the Tuesday title, Ducharme’s solo run to the finals will be talked about for seasons to come.
Thursday Night Thrillers
The Thursday night division saw a deep field of competitors whittled down through a series of intense knockout rounds. T. Grigas and K. Sobol put on a masterclass in consistency, navigating through the quarter-finals and overcoming a tough semi-final challenge to reach the championship round.
The championship match was the highlight of the night, featuring a showdown between Grigas/Sobol and the formidable duo of F. Jones and L. Solski. In a match that went down to the wire, Grigas and Sobol secured the title with a narrow 2-1 victory, earning them the Thursday Night Championship.

The season reached its peak this Saturday, March 21st at 12:00 PM as our league winners faced off for the ultimate title. In a decisive display of precision and nerves of steel, C. Beck and J. Kundle claimed the Grand Championship with a commanding 2-0 victory over T. Grigas and K. Sobol. Congratulations to our new champions and to all our finalists for an incredible season of competition and camaraderie!
